La Church of San Nicola di Bari is the mother church of Cammarata (AG).
The current building was built after a fire in 1624 destroyed the two churches dedicated to the Trinity (Christianity) and St Nicholas of Bari. It has a Latin cross plan and has three aisles. Inside the high altar a painting of the Holy Trinity and the patron saints of the country. In the left aisle is an eighteenth-century bust of San Nicola di Bari, in which is preserved a relic of the Saint, donated by Countess Lucia. marble icon of Andrea Lefty of 1490 was the Tabernacle of the old array.

The Cavalcata a characteristic manifestation of some festivals taking place in Cammarata.
The more known of which is the ride of the most Holy Crucifix of the angels, which is celebrated on the last Sunday in May. On this occasion, horses and riders paraded between two wings of the crowd through the streets of the town.
It starts from the House of Paliante, the one that promised an offering of Thanksgiving for the grace to be received, and that bring the Palio, and arrives at its peak near the Church where we celebrate the feast and where gives the offer.
Striking is the procession of the Holy Crucifix, with the wooden pallet of artistic 1863, passing through the characteristic streets of Cammarata, but much more dramatic is the rallying cry of faith "of men carrying the SS. Crucifix. feast of St. Joseph and Mary Cacciapensieri
La's feast of Saint Joseph is divided into religious festival celebrated in March and bank holiday which is celebrated on 18 August of each year.
The procession starts at the Church of Holy Mary of Cacciapensieri with the release of statues of St. Joseph and the Virgin Mary of Cacciapensieri, carried on the shoulders, respectively by men (St. Joseph) and women (Madonna).
Continues through the streets of Cammarata with the local band in tow, until reaching Piazza Marrelli, to track down and return to the Church. Throughout this process the people who made their own promises donates money and jewelry that are hung in front of the effigy of Saint Joseph or Madonna.
Within the holiday for Saint Joseph is particularly important musical entertainment show that, contrary to what happened in the past few years, takes place on the evening before the procession.
