The feast of our Lady of the visitation, patron saint of the city of Enna, is, together with the rites of Holy week, the most important religious event of the capital ereo.
The Festival is held on 2 July, with the transfer of the image of our Lady of the visitation from the Cathedral to the Church of Montesalvo.
The festivities begin on 29 June to St Peter and St Paul, St Peter's Church in the afternoon the procession live to The Duomo for the handover, at 19.00 opens into the right Chapel of the Duomo, in polychrome marbles, the niche which houses the statue of the Madonna appearing covered entirely of gold jewelry with precious gold chiseled style wreath Baroque, with various medallions each representing a sacred scene, is wrapped in a large blanket of Golden filigree quilted Brocade.

On July 2:
