Busambra Rocca (1613 m), is the highest peak of the mountain range of Sicani Mountains and the highest peak in western Sicily. It is located in the territory of Corleone, Godrano and Monreale in Palermo subway.
The complex, articulated along a ridge of 15 km consists of several reliefs (from west to east: Pizzo Nicolosi, Silverware Rocca, Rocca Ramusa, Busambra Pizzo, Pizzo House), looks like a ridge that rises above the green hills of the forest Ficuzza. The finding is very rugged, especially on the northern side, with vertical walls, and stretches of impressive height overhanging. The southern slope gradually slopes down more gently. Also notable is the prominence of the surrounding territory, mostly hilly, a factor that contributes to the fortress looks like a pad isolated and majestic.
The peak offers a wide 360-degree panorama that encompasses a large portion of the valley and the surrounding territory.
